End of The School Year

Dear Families and Friends,

The end of the school year quickly approaches.  Holy Mother the Church crowns the temporal achievements of the academic year with the glories of the close of Paschaltide.  The coming weeks offer us the Rogation Days, Ascension Thursday, and on Graduation Day, the Vigil of Pentecost.  As the Upper Academy students prepare for their final exams, the seniors for graduation, and the younger children for promotion to the next grade, we pray that the Holy Ghost enkindles in them the fire of divine love.

"He who is not on fire does not inflame," St. Gregory the Great reminds us of this simple reality.  Catholic education is the enkindling of the divine flame into the hearts of the students.  This fire is meant to transform the world.  We pray that our students, your children, have made contact with hearts engulfed in this eternal blaze of charity in the Academy and at home.  We send them, some for life and some until next year, to spread that fire to other hearts after graduation.

I wish to express my gratitude - for your sacrifices, your prayers, and your perseverance.  Know of my prayers for each of you during the months ahead.  May Our Lady keep your hearts and homes close to hers, and may the Holy Ghost find hearts ready to receive Him at Pentecost.

In Christo,

Fr. Samuel Fabula
Principal
