Graduation Ceremony 2021

On graduation day, June 5, 2021, solemn Mass will be held at 9:30am to be followed by the ceremony at the Performing Arts Center (PAC).

As this school year quickly draws to a close, some parents may be nervous about the beforestanding summer months with a house full of energetic children, while other parents might be excited about a family trip to more pleasant temperatures. In either case, the children are likely excited about their free time!

Parents may even reflect on this school year, with all that it entailed:
The weekday commute to school, while occasionally forgetting one of our children on campus and apologetically turning the car back around. There were of course the homework-filled afternoons, school Masses, volunteer opportunities and fundraising work to be done by all. Perhaps a child of yours received their First Holy Communion or Confirmation this year. Or you may be the parent of a graduating Senior. These are truly special times.

You will find that all this time and effort invested bears fruit. Have you taken notice how your children have been influenced by the daily guidance and strong examples that are Fathers McFarland, Pons, Pedersen, Kallal, and Pazat, Mr. Johnson and all our dedicated teachers and staff? Unlike at many other schools, their teachings do not end at 3:15pm when the school bell rings. They are always available to help, especially by the apostolate of prayer, without which none of the work would be fruitful.

Let's also not forget about our wonderful parishioners. Without their financial support our school families would not receive the tax scholarships or fundraising support each year.

We are so grateful and blessed for all that Fathers, our teachers, staff and parishioners at Our Lady of Sorrows do for our families and ultimately for the souls of our children. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and may God bless you!
