A Pleasant Day: Spring Auction 2022

On the day of this year's spring auction, all enjoyed the beautiful breeze and lively crowd.

The bustle of busy volunteers started bright and early on the morning of the spring auction as parents and faculty set up tables, food trays, beverages, prizes and a vast array of unique auction baskets as well as many auction items too large to fit into any basket at all. -How do you wrap a grill, harp, kayak, bike or a 10-foot dining table set complete with benches?!

The crowd was blessed with pleasantly fresh and overcast weather, which made it all the more enjoyable to socialize with fellow parishioners, picnic on the grounds and watch the children play. It was especially amusing to see the little ones admire the chickens, rooster and small parrots full of wonder and loving care.

So many people won unique prizes you'd be hard-pressed to find in any store: A delicious meal prepared by none other than Father Pons or a marriage retreat offered by Father McFarland.

On behalf of the Academy faculty and families we would like to say thank you to Mrs. Rena Violette for her continuous effort and dedication and all the helping hands, big and small. We are also grateful for our wonderful parishioners who are so supportive of our Parish school and made this day enjoyable. The event's proceeds have amounted to $26,000. Thank you for all you do and may God bless you!
